Endevor to Git Migration at Atruvia AG – 3.620.999 migrated elements with up to 200 version levels, 156 element types, and approx. 350 stakeholders. Completed in 30 months across 7 stages using Bitbucket, IBM Dependency Based Build (DBB), and IBM UrbanCode Deploy (UCD). The project was successfully completed on time and within budget through a carefully planned iterative migration approach. Development teams were onboarded and trained sequentially, enabling a smooth transition without disrupting ongoing delivery activities. Continuous delta migrations from Endevor ensured that the latest changes could be transferred to Git at any point during the project lifecycle. To optimize repository size and maintain efficiency, only selected version levels were migrated to Git, while historical versions were securely archived in LDMS to satisfy compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements. This approach enabled uninterrupted parallel development, full traceability, and complete auditability throughout the entire transformation into a highly efficient DevOps CI/CD environment.
